The Hors d’oeuvre Festival
and the Pursa–Palooza Auction

Benefitting the
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sumter County

12:30PM - 4:00PM

At the Wildwood Community Center

We believe that this festival  will also have an economic impact that will help influence future businesses to  invest their time, money and efforts in this community.  It will reinforce this communities’ commitment to current and future businesses, while having a great time.

The Pursa-Palooza will be a charity auction with upscale purses.  Attendees will be given a limited time to bid on each purse.  We will  begin to ask  stores, businesses and friends to donate these upscale purses.  This unique auction will benefit the  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sumter County.

At this time, we are working on the final layout of this festival.  We know that there will be a stage, a dance floor, and entertainment by Forever Young also  large tents with tables and chairs.  Then each restaurant/business will be assigned  an exhibitor space number on a first-come first-serve basis.  Sponsorships are available for any business not wanting to serve  food or drinks.  Gold & Silver Sponsorships are currently open, contact Evelyn Stetler (352) 753-0736 for more information.

The advertising and marketing for this event will appear in the Villages Daily Sun, on radio ads placed on WVLG 640AM, websites, and social media.  There will also be special invitations to many of our area dignitaries.  Also, the day of the event there will be a live broadcast with WVLG.

Tickets will be sold through JP Tours, The Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce and Stetler Media and Expos.  It can also be arranged that the restaurants and businesses can sell tickets if they wish.  Each ticket will be $30 per person and will include all samplings, drinks and entertainment.

Come be a part of the 1st Annual Hors d’oeuvre Festival

As a participant, your restaurant or business will be responsible for setting up your tent, table & chair(s) and serving your hors d’oeuvre, drink or wine  to 1,000 guests, residents and dignitaries in and around the Villages Community.

This annual hors d’oeuvre festival  is an opportunity for our area residents to enjoy an afternoon of hors d’oeuvres, drinks and wine, from area restaurants and businesses along with entertainment from Forever Young.

Plus benefitting the Big Brother Big Sisters program of Sumter County.  These donations will stay within Sumter County.

Our celebrity, Chef Manny from (Food Network Stars) will judge each sample to determine the overall winners for First, Second & Third places.  We have heard from a few business and some of their ideas are Mac ‘n Cheese, desserts, chowder, meat dishes just to name a few. So many so, we won’t have duplications!  Just ask us.
